Death Cafe & Arc of LifE

Death Cafe in Mariah’s Dover Home

Death CAFE Events

Death Cafe is an international 501(c)3 with chapters around the world, each hosting conversations about all things related to death. Often accompanied by tea, light bites, and always a set of open ears, a Death Cafe is unique gatherings where people can voice what might be on their mind related to this often-taboo topic.

I’ve held several of these special conversations in my home in Dover, Massachusetts, and continue to host them periodically.

Arc of Life Gatherings

I also lead a different kind of conversation that focuses on the junctions that one will encounter in the experience of aging. Together, the decisions to be made, where preparation is called for, and how to navigate underdeveloped social and medical systems.

Hosts have graciously invited me into their homes, gathering their community there. The conversation ranges from the pragmatic to deeply intimate, holding space for the many different ways in which somebody might orient to this topic.
