Hard facts state that in today’s society, food has become abundant (everywhere!) and oversized. Little physical activity seems required. No matter your age or weight history, it is very easy to gain unwanted weight.  That 7 out of 10 Americans are overweight brings attention to how, as a society, we are out spinning out of control.  (JAMA Intern Med.2015:175:1412-1413)
